As a student if I was looking to buy a laptop for my course I would consider the following aspects:
1. Brand: I would consider the brand of the machine because some brands are more reliable than others in terms that it won’t break down easily and durability as well.

2. Price: I would consider the price of the PC because as a student it is very difficult to purchase a top class laptop and so we have to make a reasonable limit of how much we have to spend from our budget e.g. from about €200-€500 tends to be a reasonable limit.
3. Wireless Connection: I would consider this because it is important for research purposes and it tends to be easier if the laptop has wireless capabilities so that you can connect anywhere on the go.
4. Security: I would consider a high preference on security because when your new PC is infected with viruses and Trojans it can have a massive impact on your files and also the systems on your laptop. It can delete your work or projects and can make the entire system crash. So a good security is important to prevent all these problems and keep the system secure.
5. Speed: I would consider a laptop with decent or high speed by getting one of the latest processors speed and RAM the higher they are the faster the laptop is. My laptop 3GB of RAM which means it is really good in terms of speed and there will be even better ones out as well.
6. Memory: Always consider the amount of memory the PC contains before purchasing it because as a student it would be important to have a lot of memory on the laptop to store a number of files, music, videos etc. This will prevent us from having small limited memory and forcing us to delete old files to replace them with new ones.
